Welcome to Riverside Police Officers' Association

Welcome to our website! The members of the Riverside Police Officers' Association are proud to serve and protect the citizens of our city. The Association was founded back in 1935 with the objective of maintaining a relief fund for the protection, care, and relief of its members. Since its founding 83 years ago, the objectives of the Association have expanded.

Recognizing the importance of maintaining a close relationship with the community we serve, members of our Association reach out to improve and sustain our community with both volunteer support and financial assistance.

Join us as we make our city a better place to live. The RPOA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Lost In The Sauce BBQ trailer at it again!
Free concert in the park at Fairmount Park...  The RPOA Assistance Fund is out with the BBQ trailer yet again working to raise money for our 501c3 to benefit the following: Officers killed or injured in the line of duty. Local Youth Programs. Veterans and elderly programs. Scholarship Programs RPD Canine program Come out and enjoy live music and BBQ! RPOA and Pink Ribbon Place join forces to battle cancer!
All, Let me start by offering a warm hello and I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits! The RPOA has partnered with Pink Ribbon Place for this year’s cancer walk. The walk will be held on October 16th throughout the day from 0800 to 1730. The Assistance Fund is at again!
The RPOA President, Board Member Jason Alter and RPOA General Member Jeff Putnam are at Greer Ranch in Murrieta!  We were invited to their monthly food truck event held at their clubhouse.  We were asked to provide our standard BBQ menu for the residents and their families.  (Check rpoa_lostinthesauce on the GRAM) for the menu and pricing for this event. A huge thank you to Eric Detmer for getting us into the mix with folks that truly support law and order!

Our purpose is to provide the highest quality and most effective representation for our members and to ensure that their interests and safety are protected. We will be a leader and active participant in labor issues on the local, state and national levels and shall provide a credible and effective voice in the legislative and political arenas. The Riverside Police Officers’ Association will perform in a manner that brings credit to and reflects favorably upon professional law enforcement and the community that our members serve.
